		<description><![CDATA[There is much hype surrounding website UI design, and a large variety of tools claiming to help optimise the said interface; however, the most useful piece of theory I have found on the topic is dated 1998 and was written by somebody called Talin, whose home page now returns a 404.

It was written with reference to program design rather than website design, but I think these 14 principles apply cross-topic.
