Annie Leibovitz. Are there any words to describe her work? Are there any words to describe her subjects better than her work? Annie is the photographer behind the Demi Moore naked and pregnant cover of Vanity Fair; behind the clothed Ono and naked Lennon cover of Rolling Stone. And the story-teller behind Disney’s series of celebrities-as-fairytale-characters series. Just amazing.

Irving Penn, who photographed celebrities, indigenous people, workers and cigarette butts, has died at his Manhattan home, aged 92. This is some of his work, my RIP for the man who changed fashion and portrait photography for ever.
