Inspiration: Custom Type for Middle East’s Largest Telco

Based on Zain’s corporate typeface, Avenir, and their request for a patterned headline font, Fontsmith came up with this beauty; created by Fontsmith’s Arabic specialist, Emanuela Conidi, this font comes in a single headline weight in both Latin and Arabic language scripts as well as a special weight for numbers (it is a phone company after all).
Personally I find the outcome gorgeous – and very distinctive, which is something rare in advertising nowadays.
