Ever had to have your photo taken and freaked out? Looked at a photo of you and thought “Gee I look like crap”? Then watch this.

Awesome video and great advice for headshot photography – not only for actors, but for corporate types, personal photos etc (I’m not including kids because they do it naturally). Watch until the end, there’s a great mantra you can use for your next portrait shot.

I found the video on the website of Jom Photography – yep, the guy in the photo is the photographer himself. You should really browse around the site, there’s lots of quirky little bits of advice or insight hidden everywhere.

The address is Jom Photography Sydney.

  1. Much like hearing one’s voice on a recording, what our perception of ourselves is often different than reality. Elle MacPherson doesn’t have a bad camera angle, but she like the rest of us are convinced that something is amiss. I would love to have a document photo taken that the sight of doesn’t make me cringe, it’s just not meant to be.
