Ad of the Day: Amnesty International (print)
Now this is not something one comes across every day: it’s a campaign for turning in your gun. Simple and very, very effective: structured like a labyrinth, with the gun at the centre of it and the message:
“The game ends when they find it.
Save a life, give your gun.
Disarming house campaign stop.
Act. Denounce.”
This one made me stop and think for a long, long while.

There is an exhibition in the British Museum of things made out of gun parts. Apparently they went to some village in Africa where they made an exchange: a tractor (for the whole village) for their guns. They managed to build many things using only guns and gun parts. Quite interesting…
