15 brilliant illustrations by Artgerm
Stanley Lau a.k.a. Artgerm is an illustrator, designer, concept artist and art director. Born in Hong Kong, Stanley moved to Singapore at the age of 15 and trained his artistic skills and knowledge ever since in a never-ending process. Stanley is currently working on various projects at his Imaginary Friends Studio, designing art and concepts for computer and card games companies, animation houses or comic publishers. He is also founder of his own advertising & design agency and a t-shirt label, and when Stanley is not working on any of these, he can be found playing video games across many platforms or the occasional karaoke session.
His illustrations, usually completed in 2-3 hours, with Painter as his weapon of choice, are primarily manga-inspired (like his Samurai series) – but he also enjoys playing with various illustration styles using Pepper, a fictitious character he came up with specifically for this purpose. No, she is not based on a real person, and no, he does not have her phone number. But real or not, she is stunning.
